I am waiting for the Spec's to come out to decide if I will wait for the 2004 or buy the 2003.

Lately, I have been kicking around the idea of going fi. I think that would be a better way to spend my money than to upgrade to a MY04. I would take a beating if I traded mine in now and there are quite a few nice used cars on the market at a reasonable price. I am sure a $4100 Vortech would be much more fun than taking a $5k+ beating on trading up for maybe 10-20 hp.

Thanks everyone for posting opinions and voting. It's very interesting to see that the vast majority of us are not convinced that the 2.2L would be enough to trade in.

I for one will def. want to test drive one (tho I doubt that will actually be possible, given that most of us didn't get a test drive before buying the first time!) and see about low end torque increase and complete specs before thinking of taking the loss to trade in for the 2.2 liter version of our car.

I agree with ugotmade that it might make sense to look at something completely different vs. selling my S and buying another. Perhaps a Z06 or (dreaming a little) the new GT3...

I think I'll need to get that super charger...

Then I will start racing new ones and telling the owners "I thought the new ones were faster? "

If the horsepower is not gaining very much in 04 model then I don't think it's worth to get it. I will probably spend some bucks on my current ride to gain hp
