What Was or Will Be, your First S2K Mod ... ?
My first mod was a taller windscreen, which didn't seem to make much difference in the cabin with the top down at highway speeds. Then, with the help a seasoned local S2K veteran, upgraded the sound system significantly with a new head unit, changed out door cards to accommodate tweeters that were not standard in my MY 01 version. new front and rear speakers in one of the last set of S-Pods that the original maker had for sale, a 5-channel amp in the spare tire's pocket, and a footwell sub, that turns out to be perfect for my cabin. Other cosmetic and security changes have been key hole covers, wheel locks, seat locks (don't overlook these!), front bumper license plate hole plugs and an aftermarket two-way alarm system.
Then I added seat heaters, which, believe it or not, are popular with the ladies here in Phoenix this time of year, especially the top down at night.
I did upgrade my tires, but before I start second-guessing the Honda engineers on ride height and handling, I want to improve my track driving skills. I've a lot to learn about driving this car and it will be some time before I change some geometry with it. I suggest you do the same.
Edit: I got an OEM hardtop, too. Kept it on for about a year or more, then took it off last Fall. I sure do like being able to put the top up and down in about 5 seconds.

bought it, changed all the fluids, went to billman. Got a clean bill of health, bought 2 sets of tires, then proceeded to smoke said tires. my car is still bone stock. as the last guy said, i have much to learn before i start messing with geometry.

I replaced the soft top...then after about 7 months of driving it, I got coil overs for it...after that, it was axle spacers, intake, SS brake lines, header, exhaust, sway bar, braces, and im now getting into more appearance oriented mods like a new shift knob and shift boot...not sure whats next, but come tax time im going to be springing for a hard top
If you don't know what to do then don't put the cart before the horse and just pick mods. Drive the car stock. Determine what you think is deficient and then mod. Track time is always a good mod to improve the driver.
If you are getting an 06 to 09 model then you might want to read this: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/106...ners-dbw-cars/
Then the next thing you should take care of is general maintenance. Make sure you have a good set of tires on. Tires are super important in this car.after you get some seat time then you can start thinking about modding it. Flashpro if you are getting 06 to 09 would be a good start
