What would you perfer
Comptec Icebox or Arc intake system and why? i ordered arc but its on national backorder waited 3 months decicing if i should just pic up the comp tec please help
its so much cheaper too

I have the Comptech. It has a decent sound and may give you some gains (don't have a dyno of it). I also like the carbon fiber cover for the filter. The ARC is JDM bling but I've read threads around this site that says the intake may sap a couple HP.

I would prefer and AEM V2, oh wait that's not on the list. 
I would take the comptech over the ARC. I just feel that the ARC is way overpriced, it doesn't show any gains, and I don't really like the look of it.

Comptech - no question. I believe Comptech is financed by Honda so they make products that fit and work well.

I have the ARC in my car and I got it used so I saved a GRIP of money. Throttle response is improved but other than that theres no improvments in performance that I can tell other than the visual effect and sound. Overall im very happy with the item. The turbo guys with there filters sitting in front of the engine blocks should worry more about heat soak than an ARC intake owner.
