I am happy with my Comptech. The above info is wrong though, Comptech is not financed by Honda. They are completely seperate companies, but I do know that Honda has Comptech do some engine work for them on their racecars.

 

I'd have to be filthy rich and have more money than I can spend to buy that....

 

Dear God that thing is ridiculous! Talk about JDM bling...unless that thing has a supercharger hiding somewhere inside of it I wouldn't pay $300 for it much less $3,000. I guess maybe if you had a fully built engine and didn' want to go FI it might make sense, but at that point I'd think you'd want ITB's.

To the original thread starter, I think I've settled on the K&N intake. Its $100 less than the Comptech (which was my other consideration), and will perform roughly the same. Comptech is definitely "prettier" to look at, but my hood only opens for maintenence.

The ARC is way to pricey IMO, and I don't particularly care for how much space it takes up.
