Default what is wrong with this guy

EDIT* this guy in a big SUV with raised suspension hit my trunk at the market parking lot on june 10th hasnt been picking up his phone since the morning of june 13th. the estimate came out to be close to 2000 dollars.. several days later, i called his insurance and made the insurance claim.. sinec then, the insurance's called him many times but james has been picking up his phone.. its gona be almost 3 weeks pretty soon since the accident..

what is going on!??!??!

i don wana report to my insurance and get my check and then wait for his insurance to reimburse my insurance company..

what would u guys advice me to do??

*Publicly naming someone in this situation is not a good idea and could cause some issues. Besides you don't need his name posted to get your point across

There are many circumstances that could cause this person to be unavailable for 3 weeks. The good news is that you have the insurance company calling too, so you have someone on your side

Have patience, only clear cases with excellent insurance companies and responsible individuals get taken care of immediately. If one of those 3 things are not in the equation prepare yourself for the long haul

Call the POLICE. That is why I always call them at the scene...if you have any witnesses that will help.

Police cannot do anything at an accident scene on private property unless there is an injury...

As for the guy, I had this same problem when somebody turned left in front of me on my way to work. My car was legally undrivable so I had to get a rental car. The entire two weeks I'm talking to this guy's insurance company and having to pay for my own rental because he won't call them and give his side of the story. I did get reimbursed for the cost after the fact but waiting around for this schmuck was far from comforting. Anyway, there's nothing you really can do until this guy contacts his insurance company so you're stuck either dealing with your insurance company or just waiting him out. Call and pester, that's all I can say.
