Default What is wrong with my S

Hey all I just had to replace the rear tires on my S at 14500 miles. I have the 04 so I went to discount and bought exact replacement RE050's. For some reason the car now feels like it is floating around. Hard to describe but I just dont feel safe in it anymore. The steering is SUPER sensitive i just barely turn the steering wheel and I moves all over the palce. Going down the freeway at like 85 the car feels like it is going to drift all over the place. To the best of my knowledge these are the exact same wheel front and back I looked at them so closely and the only difference I see is that on the new rears it says ROE Extended which I have no clue what that means but they look identical. ANY help would be so much appreciated kinda took the fun out of driving it when you are scared to go around corners waiting for the back end to come around. thanks again

So you think this would be caused by over inflation??

sounds like under inflation. buy at pump or compressor at autozone with a guage. inflate or delfate to around 35 psi on all 4. That should be about right. try that first! If its not, u might have a defective tire.

the only reason why I would think it was not under inflation is because the ride is a lot more stiff with the new tires. Rides really hard over bumps and such. I was thinking the tires were made out of a different compound or something but treadware is the same as well.

It may be because they are brand new Tires. I have noticed when I get SomeNew Tires That even out of the driveway they feel "easier" to turn. Just my 2 cents
