Hi, I'm just curious if my car has the TPMS system. Also, at how many PSI is it activated?

I have a 2004.

Tire pressure monitoring system.

I don't have a user's manual, so I found a .PDF of an '08 manual and it mentions this.

I think mine has it, because I believe in the sun that I could see an outline of the light for that in the dash.

2008 has tpms. It alarms when there is a sudden pressure change of more than a specified number of lbs, about 5 or maybe more I believe.

I'm pretty sure TPMS became mandatory for all new cars sold in the US as 2008 models.

I don't feel like that's logical.

Do you really think a Chevy Aveo is going to come with that feature?

Yep, only the 2008s have TPMS. My 2008 Fit also had TPMS, so I think it's pretty standard now.

Consider yourself lucky if anything, if you ever decide to get aftermarket wheels you won't have to go through the hassle of dealing with the sensors.
