Well its at least an 04. There isnt much difference between the +04's. You can tell by wheels but it has rims. But 06+ have VSA. I think thats what its called. I have an AP1 so idk haha.

You can make any car look like any model year with modifications.

People have done headlight / tail light swaps.

People have done bumper swaps both ways.

To the OP, I wouldn't base your car buying based on looks. Pick your budget first.

Also, make sure to check out the "Gallery" section. You can find all kinds of pictures with build threads documenting exactly what people did to get that "look." If that fails, you can even PM the owners directly to ask them questions.

He's asking about 2 different cars. But both look like 04-05 era to me.

Its hard to tell from those pics since both have aftermarket parts. you can make any yr look like a brand spanking new one..

From my guess

Pic #1 might be a AP1 (00-03) since J's half lip only attaches to a AP1 front bumper and it also has a AP1 rear Bumper. The Headlights and Tailights are from a AP2 (04-09)

Pic#2
That infact may be a AP2 (04-09) since you cant see the ugly Condenser thing inside the bumper that AP1's have..... That car has a ASM front bumper...

Neither cars are stock so its hard to tell..

Only way to answer this question for sure is by asking the owners.

Need VIN, shots of the interior would help...assuming it isn't modded.
