Default What you guys think?

Okay guys, I'm back in the market for a s2k and I've been looking at some auctions and was almost close to buying one again but I wasnt ready with the money part. I've recently found one in FL it's a 2004, Silver with Red/Black interior with 50k miles for 13k buy it now option. But the thing that bothers me is that it has an announcment of Unibody and I wanted to know what do you guys think about unibody on the car is it a really bad thing? can it be noticeable in driving? what extent can it be on the damage and so on? I would really appreciate you're inputs on this. Oh and the car is a two owner no accident and it has 5 maintance records done by the dealership. Here's some pics of the vehicle.
The 5 maintance records read i think the 5th falls into one of these also not sure:
1st- @ 27,496-Vehicle serviced: Short Blcok replaced, washed/detailed, clutch assembly replaced
2nd-@ 29,133 Vehicle serviced: Computer checked
3rd-@ 29,451-Vehicle serviced: Engine/Powerstrain computer/module checked
4th-@ 33,839-Vehicle serviced: Maintance inspection completed, Brakes checked, A/C system serviced, A/C compressor replaced, Cabin air filter replaced, Trasnimssion serviced, Oil and filter changed chassis lubricated, A/C refrigerant recharged

Thx for looking

i would usually stick to the saying i live by: if it's too good to be true then it usually is

you never know though just be careful.

It may just be me but that seems like it's had too many fairly serious problems. Of course they seem to have been fixed but what caused the problems? Abuse? Water damage?

That looks like some serious maint for an S. Short block was replaced? Why? Seems like some serious problems with electronics, and they will be a real problem....

Short block replaced at 27k so this car doesn't have the original engine which would account for the bargain price. There may be nothing wrong with the car since the rebuid with the new?/used engine and the price seems good but I'd want a professional opinion and a test drive before buying.

Looks like too many things went wrong on that car...Short block, electronics and a/c compressor are the big ones. Looks like this car was built on a "friday".

Good luck if you do decide to purchase it...Although, I would walk away from it as I already had a "bad melon" 2 cars ago, 2002 Nissan Sentra Ser Spec V, and would not go through the pain again.

Pass it by - there are other better cared for cars - this one was abused with short block and new clutch by 27K.
