For the s2000 what's your thoughts on what's the best year to look for?

In this case its between ap1 and ap2. Honestly the ap2 is much better. They ran tons of tests and dynos to prove this.

05 is the best year if you don't want all the electronic bullshit. With that said, I have an 06

Honestly I'd say 04-07 are the best years. AP2 styling without tpms ( I despise tpms lol)

Newer is better from a financial standpoint (total cost of ownership).

04+ is faster than 00-03 on track going purely by numbers.

06+ is the most cost-effective to custom tune,

Any year S2000 will put a smile on your face.

 

The best year is the one you own. Of course for VP's stable, make that plural.
