Don't dismiss the value of the flashable ECU, ~$600 for a Hondata FlashPro to smooth out the VTEC curve is very nice.

You are just restarting the ap1 vs ap2 debate.
I'm hardly impartial, I love the original (year 2000) for sentimental values. No one can convince me otherwise.
But of course, do you really want or need 9200 rpm redline? Why not just get the newest S2000 you can get your hands on.
