What's the board's consensus on the value of buying a dust cover?
Is there any benefit to messing with putting a cover on the car other than the obvious "dust" issue? How's the chat board feel about this subject?
Also, what's the proper care for a convertible top? I haven't had one since I restored an old '66 MG Midget a few years ago and that top was a piece of doodoo!
Thanks.

I used my cover for the first time last November. Usually, there are quite a few days to drive my car during winter times here, but last winter was unusually cold and the third snowiest on record. I put the cover on in Nov., thinking it would be for just a couple of weeks, and it turned out to be over 3.5 months!!! I'm glad I had the cover for that. When I finally took the cover off, the car looked brand new.
As far as the top is concerned, check out www.properautocare.com. I purchased some of 3M's 303 vinyl cleaner and protectant and am totally happy with it. Some here also use Vinylex.
