Just wondering what the difference was between spa and rio yellow , wich one is the darker yellow and what years were they made? Thanks

 

Rio is the darker and mad with the AP2 and Spa is the lighter and made with the AP1

Ok Thanks i think i like the Rio a lil better but both are nice , i wish you could get rio on an ap1. Like on my car 05 corvette c6 my color is daytona sunset orange mettalic and on the i think 07's and up or 08's its atomic orange . the dsom is the darker orange wich i like better. Thanks for the help

 

Rio is much nicer IMO, and I own neither

 

i like the rio as well. the spa is too light for my taste and looks a tad faded for me. no offense to the ap1 owners

Rio is indeed darker - more red - and it is a simpler color to paint and match as it is a 2-step process. Spa is a 3-step process and it is very, very difficult to get a proper color match.

I love yellow, I like Rio a lot, but then again, I think Spa looks just great, not too light at all.

 

Spa FTW here. when it's freshly waxed and sunny the pearls make it stand out alot.
