Pick the color you like.... spa owners will likely say "spa ftw" while rio owners will likely say "rio ftw". I own neither and I think both looks good.

 

I thought rio actually had more mica in it? along with being a couple shades darker

 

Rio is a much fuller color with way more pearl and a tad darker. Much nicer IMO

 

lol ofcourse i will pick the color i like , i dont need you to tell me that haha. i had an s2k about 3 years ago and have been on this forum for awhile , i did not own a yellow one and now i am intereted in yellow so i wanna see them side by side to help make my choice . if anyone has any nice side by side pics please post them . Thanks

 

One thing about Rio, by the way - bugs LOVE it. They swarm it like crazy.

both spa and rio yellows are tri coats! The base color and the pearls are different! Had to paint of bumper cover for a rio a few weeks ago, its just as hard to match as spa is! I repainted my car but i put three more coats of pearl on it to darken it up! Pretty much looks like rio now, the CR lip i got almost matches perfect!

 

I like the rio more !

 

rio is richer in color..as everyone said..they only came out MY 04+
