What's the Difference b/w a 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003 S2K?
My interest in the S2000 has peaked, and after reading many threads on this site, I have yet to encounter one that depicts differences (if any) between the '00, '01, '02, & '03 S2Ks. I know the '02 and up models fixed the soft top abrasions caused by a sharp plastic piece (putting holes in the top); but is there anything else that differentiates these model years? Thanks

Here's the breakdown...
2000 - Original model.
2001 - Added Spa Yellow to the model line. Windscreen became standard.
2002 - Added Suzuka Blue and Sebring Silver to the model line. Soft top redesigned with glass window. Tweeters added. Slight suspension changes. Transmission/clutch updated.
2003 - Added GP White/Tan to the model line, replacing GP White/Red.
2004 - Added Rio Yellow to the model line, replacing Spa Yellow. 2.2L Engine, slight suspension changes, new front and rear facia, revamped interior.
2000 - Original model.

At the top of this forum (the "S2000 Talk" forum), you will see a Note titled: FAQs of S2000 Talk and Other Useful INFO, click on that and then look for 25. What is the difference between MY (Model Years)?. Everything you ever wanted to know is there. Good luck.
