This car actually has much more room than you'd expect for something it's size...

Wow!!!

I can't believe your knees don't hit the steering wheel at all while shifting. You must have some freak "extra long" edition of the S2K... Or, perhaps mine has an extra high clutch...

Have you ever tracked your car and tried to heel-toe it through a tight corner? If so, I would love to see a video clip of how someone with a 36" inseam can accomplish this effectively.

I've also heard that there is 3" more in legroom.
Where do you hear that?

I'm 55, 6'3", 240 lbs, 34" inseam, size 40 pants (more info than ANYONE wanted, I'm sure). The seat could move back an extra inch or two to make me feel better but I wouldn't give up the car for love nor money. Is it tight? Yep. Can I live with it? I've done trips from western NY to the outer banks of NC with my wife and a week's worth of clothes. I simply don't want more space compared to the handling/performance of the car and I'm not going to give that up for a more "comfortable" car - that's not the reason I bought the car.

Some (many? most?) folks need to be able to drive the car while leaning so they looking like they're in the middle of the car and have all their accoutrements scattered about them to feel comfortable in a vehicle. I want to be able to DRIVE the damned car and don't want anything distracting me from the task. *For me* this car fits perfectly...

friendly reminder, not trying to be a d---

s2000 is supposed to have a 400lb weight limit, inlcuding passenger/driver/trunk items. so that could limit the passenger potentail....if you adhered to the manual that is. And 290 is a big difference from 240

I have kept the orignal seat but had it lowered about an inch in a very similar fashion to the way described in the thread linked above. If you want to sit in it and see, PM me and we can see if it's possible to meet. I live on the South Shore of Montreal.
