Whats my duce worth?
I don't expect mods to add value. As I said I want to sell as is for 16.5 which I think is pretty damn fair. I can remove the grille and tints no problem. But as for the other stuff I'm not interested in removing eveything I've put on it. Besides, I don't have The stock exhaust, intake, rotors, or air pump any longer so it's going to be more of a pain in my ass then it's worth to me. As far as the wheels I may put the stockers on and if the price is right give them to the new buyer or sell on my own. I paid 600 for all 4 wheels so I don't really care all that much anyhow. I hear ya about the grille, I don't love it either but on my last set up I chased a boost leak due to a stone hitting the FMIC for weeks so it was more about protecting then looks. I don't know why you all think I'm trying to cash in on my mods. I think 16.5 is a pretty realistic number for this car in the shape it's in with low miles for an 01.
Here are some recently sold cars from ebay which is a great resource for value:

There are also a few clean ones that didn't meet reserve at 10-11ish.
I know you think your car is in excellent shape, but to a buyer, it is not. I'm sure it looks and runs great, but when a buyer sees a lowered, supercharged car, he thinks this car has been raced, and who knows what's wrong with it. This, combined with winter coming, and I think 16.5 is gonna be a tough sell. Maybe start at 14 and go down to 12? Thats what I think its worth. Good luck
Not to poke fun at the seller, but it is amusing when sellers complain about the hassles of parting out but then suggest the buyer can easily part it out to get more $$$ and thus the price of the car should be X+(street value of parts).
The only way I end up parting out is if I keep the OEM parts laying around. Bringing the tail lights back to stock and getting rid of the diffuser will make it appear to a much bigger market and make the car appear less modded (FWIW I like the diffuser).
From someone who has more experience selling cars than most, I would suggest ANYONE selling a FI car to include compression and leak down figures in the ad in the sentence IMMEDIATELY following the mention of FI. It's a 10+ year old, high compression N/A engine, pushing an additional 200whp (double factory output) than stock. Document the health of the engine.
I think AP2's are a better value than AP1's but I would have a hard time paying over 14k for your car and wouldn't consider it if compression figures were not >210 across the board.
I just bought an AP2 with 36k miles; only mod is a K&N filter for about what you are asking. It needed about a grand in tires and other maintenance and has more dings than usual but I bought it for about what you are asking. Yours is definitely faster and sounds cleaner than mine though.

14K as-is on a good day. Probably about 12K if you revert most of it back to stock.
To most car buyers your gauge clusters, diffuser, blacked out tail lights only signal a poorly maintained, and oftenly abused vehicle not worthy of purchasing. The "But I'm a mechanic and I love my car so it couldn't possibly be in bad shape" line has been used on a bajillion buyers, and by a bajillion sellers, and many have been burned by such lines. Do yourself a favor, part the car out, sell it in a condition much closer to stock, and sell the parts.
What you value your car at != What the market values your car at.
Granted, you may find someone insane enough on craiglist to buy your car for 19K, and if you do, I'd purchase a lottery ticket immediately after.
Also, it's deuce, not duce; and please don't refer to the S2000 as that (properly spelled or not).

Update:
I have a buddy that works at Honda near me and he has introduced me to a tech there thats has an 00 that has agreed to pay 5k for all aftermarker parts and do the swap with his stock parts. On top of that the dealership offered me 14 cash for the car once its returned to stock.
19k, and I dont have to do any work! Im happy with that!
