Is he only "against" permanent modifications which cannot be changed back to stock with the old parts?
"For?"
"Against?"

I thought the whole deal was whatever somebody wants to do to his car was his business...

I see someone strongly supporting his (completely reasonable) opinion, and not telling anyone else what to do. What's with all the grief?
LATEOTT

AGAINST?
read the post slowly and it means what is say's.

AGAINST PERMANENT MODIFICATIONS. Look it up in a dictionary

SilverFog, Lateott,

Thank you for your support. I was starting to feel like Custer at Little Big Horn.

Wow, I come back to the board and suddenly there are so many more posts! Ok, Lateott, perhaps if I said Bieg "dislikes permanent modifications which cannot be changed back to stock with the old parts?".

This clash is unfortunate. I have followed Bieg's posts since I got my S2000 EXACTLY AND TO THE DAY one year ago. As a New Yorker (even though I've lived in California for the past 12 years) I recognize and admire Bieg's direct and no nonsense manner of expressing his opinions. Bieg strikes me as someone who does not have a lot of tolerance for BS.

I first came across Fisch about a year ago also. He has posted some of the funniest and most intelligent comments of anyone on these boards. (His best work was on the Superhonda site when that was worth visiting.)

Now, Fisch is clearly a countercultural type (more power to ya) from Toostoned Arizona. I'm not saying that if Fisch is worried about getting pulled over the activity in his vehicle is like a Cheech & Chong movie, but it could be. There have been more than one comment on this board about Bieg being involved in law enforcement.

Anyway, minor train wreck with two of our best.

Both drive S2000s, can't turn out badly.

Silverfog-

Whatever. If you're coming out to S2KDays I hope to meet you to clear up your perceptions. If I had more time currently I'd go into a whole barrage of reasons why you didn't read the thread properly and why I expected an apology, but I don't have the time right now. You're absolutely right- I'm a total neophyte on the Internet. How's this for a Bieg-like response to your post- I think you're a fool to listen to the bulls*t that he says... but that would be my opinion which would only apply to some of the things he says, and I was always taught to keep my mouth shut if I didn't have anything good to say. I just don't think that's a good way to be courteous out here in Webworld. And- it doesn't change the fact that he attacked me first.

2x6speeds-

I understand that Bieg is a New Yorker. I didn't know that people were supposed to act that way online too- but I can act that way to everyone here if that's the way it's done...
