Default What's your best thumbs up experience?

I have two. One was when I was sitting in my car outside of a shopping center waiting for my wife to come out of a store one afternoon. I was parked far away with no cars around me (like we all usually do!!). An elderly man walked all the way to my car and gave me the biggest thumbs up ever!! That was cool.

My second best thumbs up came from a bunch of little kids, probably around 4-5 years old. I was driving slow around my neighborhood going home. All of a sudden, they all ran to the front lawn at the house they were at. I almost stopped because I thought they were going to run into the middle of the street. They all had their thumbs up yelling "cool car"!!!

It's cool to see that people of all ages love S-2000's.

My best thumbs up was when I was cruising through the appalachian mountains with my top down last summer and I approached a group of Harley riders wearing black leather jackets, silver helments with spikes on top, "Mama didn't love me" tattoos, and long grey beards. They were kind of hogging the road by driving in doubles and then the last motorcycle in back was a three wheeler with two fat back tires and one big front tire.

Well, he moved to the right and then everyone else parted like the red sea and I drove right up the middle of the road. As I passed almost everyone gave me a thumbs up. After I passed the pack the came back together and rode behind me for a while. It was great!

This thread isn't going anywhere? Hey Tex, I got 2 in tickets while I was in Texas last week. WTF? One ticket was $611 for going 95 in a 70 and changing lanes without signaling... and to make it worse, they want the ticket paid in 14 days? I bet that there are a lot of people with warrants out for their arrest in TX. How do they expect the average citizen to pay that type of ticket price in 14 days?

Also, it really sucks that no one is respoding to your thread. You have to talk about something contriversal to get any attention around here.... and they wonder why people become trolls.

Driving down Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks, CA I got 3 thumbs up in about 5 minutes from both pedestrians and other cars.

It figured, I had just waxed my car that morning (it was looking good).

I always seem to get a few thumbs up just driving along. Ofcourse, I also get alot of "What Kind Of Car is that ". At least people seem to notice.
