What's your best thumbs up experience?
I live in an area where noone knows what kinda little car I have.....(old person voice) So I pull in the local Hick gas station where the owners name is "Hicks" and this old couple was looking out the window, and they were staring like crazy. Then all of a sudden they both start smiling and giving
This out of all things is proabably my coolest, EVER
The best moment was when I went to the icecream place. I parked in front of the store, and I saw these 2 very very pretty college girls sittin in there and eating, well I was ordering they walked outside to leave I over heard one of the girls say s2000. Well apparently I parked next to there landrover (ya they are rich down here at UF) so i look outside and one of then started looking inside my car and then walked all around it looked inside the shop and gave me a thumbs up, man I wish those icecream peopel worked faster lol. They had left as soon as I could head outside. Well thats one of my stories, had another experience like that at they gym too when I was leaving, never had that reaction in my 350z. Wierd
Pulled up at a stop light. A elderly couple (in there 70's) pulled up next to me in a Acura Legend. The woman (she was driving) rolled down her window and said " Beautiful Car, we haven't seen that model before". I smiled all the way to work that morning!
My best thumbs up was from a Japanese guy in a heavily modded M3, I had just spent a whole day Zymoling my S, he pulled up beside me looked the car over and just said "lovely car"
Another one was from a friend of mine. He had a GT3 at the time, he also owns a Countache, and has previously owned a Ferrari 512, a 308 and an F355 at different times. After driving my S, his comment was that it was the sweetest gear shift he has ever used
I took that as a huge compliment after the different supercars that he has owned
