What's your favorite S2000 tune?
I just bought my Silverstone baby on Sunday, so I'm not quite sure yet, but so far "Skin Tight" by the Ohio Players is winning out as my official S2k theme song. After we get some suggestions here, maybe we can do a poll.
********** Edit (Jan 23, 2004):
My new essential S2k soundrack is as follows:
Skin Tight - Ohio Players
Tin Pan Alley - Stevie Ray Vaughan
Pick Up The Pieces - Average White Band
Riders On the Storm - Doors
Wind Cries Mary - Jimi Hendrix
Dreams - The Allman Brothers Band
Us and Them - Pink Floyd
Do Your Thing - Isaac Hayes
Ten Years Gone - Led Zepplin
Jungle Boogie - Cool and the Gang
(These have all been road tested!)

I had to modify this song slightly to be appropriate, but I think it works:
My pappy said "Son, you're gonna drive me to drinkin',
if you don't stop drivin' that Hot Rod Honda."
Have you heard the story of the hot rod race,
where the Fords 'n' Lincolns was settin' the pace?
That story is true, I'm sad to say,
'cause I was drivin' that H-o-n-d-a.
It's got a VTEC motor and it's really souped up,
that silverstone body makes it look like a pup.
It's got four cylinders and uses 'em all,
got VTEC, just won't stall.
With four valves a cylinder and a dual exhaust,
with 4-11 gears you can really get lost.
Got cold air in but I ain't scared,
the brakes are good, tires fair.
Pulled outta San Pedro late one night,
the moon 'n' the stars was shinin' bright.
We was drivin' up Grapevine hill,
passin' cars like they was standin' still.
All of a sudden in the wink of an eye,
Cadillac sedan passed us by.
I said "Boys that's the mark for me,"
by then the tailight was all you could see.
Now the fellas ribbed me for bein' behind,
so I thought I'd make the Honda unwind.
Took my foot off the gas'n'man alive,
I shifted on down to find VTEC live.
Wound it up to a hunderd an' ten,
my speedometer said that I hit top end.
My foot was glued like lead to the floor,
that's all there is, but wait there IS more.
Now the boys all thought I'd lost my sense,
them telephone poles looked like a picket fence.
They said "slow down, I see spots,"
the lines on the road just looked like dots.
Took a corner'n'slid round a truck,
crossed my fingers just for luck.
My fenders was inches from the guardrail posts,
the guy beside me was white as a ghost.
Smoke was comin' from outta the back,
when started t' gain on that Cacillac.
Knew I could catch him, I thought I could pass,
don'tcha by then we'd be low on gas.
We had flames comin' from outta the side,
you could feel the tension, man whatta ride.
I said "look out boys, I got a license to fly,"
and that Caddy pulled over and let us by.
Now all of a sudden she started knockin'
down in the dip she started to rock.
And I looked in the mirror, a red light was blinkin',
the cops was after my hot rod Honda.
They arrested me 'n' they put me in jail,
'n they called my pappy to throw my bail,
'n he said "son you're gonna drive me ta drinkin'
if you don't stop drivin' that hot rod Honda.

By far one of my favorite driving tunes is Eve 6's "Open Road Song"
Other good ones:
"Tremble For My Love" - Collective Soul
"Semi-Charmed Life" - Third Eye Blind
"Waters Edge" - Seven Mary Three
"Anytime" - Eve 6
These are all good ones, but sometimes just the sound of the engine is the best thing I can tune into!

I have GOT to finish my audio system.
Some real suggestions:
I can't Drive 55 ("And I can't get the car out of second gear!")
Crosstown Traffic ("Ninty miles and hour girl, is the speed I drive.")
Kickstart My Heart
Vince, I haven't tried Floyd yet, but that's a good one.
Here's another few:
"Caravan" - Van Morrison (live version from the Last Waltz)
"The Groove Line" - Heatwave
"Ain't Wastin' Time No More" - Allman Brothers Band
"Wind Cries Mary" - Jimi Hendrix

You want to rhyme with Honda:
So your girlfriend throws a Honda
Playin' workout tapes by Fonda
But Fonda ain't got a motor in the back of her Honda
My anaconda
Don't want none unless you got buns, hon
