I am currently in the market for a new '07 S2000. I still need to part out my current car and sell the car before I buy the S2k.

I don't want to wait to long, so I was wondering if anyone has any information on when '08s are being shipped to dealers.

I would like to purchase an '07 at these deep discounts off MSRP. Does anyone know when the last batch of '07s is shipping out?

Any help is appreciated.

pretty sure 08's will start being produced around october to november, and this will mark the end of 07 production.

If you want to buy an '07 at a deep discount, why not wait until the '08s hit the dealerships? The dealership will be more willing to deal once the new models are delivered...

 

They will be "previewing" '08 CR at S2000 Homecoming in September, so I think it won't hit showroom floors any earlier than October.

 

 

In the past, the next model years of S2000s have arrived at the dealerships around September.

Just because 08s arrive doesn't mean there won't be any 07s to be had.

 

Why are you buying BEFORE the new ones arrive? The prime time to buy is after they arrive, when the dealers are desperate to get the "old" 07s off the lot

 

What do you consider a "deep discount?" The S doens't sell at all anymore and keeep in mind when buying a year out car your taking a one year depreciation hit. (IE look at KBB pricing on a 04 w/20k miles vs a 05 w/20k miles)

I forgot about the S2k CR homecoming in September, so that means there is still some time until the 08s show up.

My aim is to get an 07 as the 08s arrive.

I saw the pics in the other thread of the CR at a dealership already and thats what got me thinking about how much time I have left.
