Default When does the urge to go to the garage to admire your s2k stop???

Coming up on my MY02's three month anniversary since coming home. I still find myself going to the garage to admire my s2k. I even fine myself doing it a work, going out to the parking lot. You know, that longing, affectionate stare. Feels sorta like drinking alone...

With past cars I remember doing this for a few months max. When does it ever stop for s2k owners. It's consuming a lot of time, and frankly, I'm afraid I may require therapy at some point.

p.s. just peeked into the garage agian. it's 12:30 am for chrissakes.

--after go online s2ki.com, find some new info about my car.

--in the middle of reading a car magazine.

It must be more than two years. You don't need therapy. Looking at your car in the garage IS therapy.

It doesn't stop. It actually gets worse. You'll find that you get iritated with people who don't keep their cars nice and shiny so that you can see your car's reflection in their's

If there's a large shop window at street level near where you live or work, you'll find that you slow down to have a look at your reflection as you go by (and you'll find excuses to go by there often).

I'm sorry, but the list goes on and on. I've found that the only effective tharapy is indulgence. It's OK, you're among friends who understand.

Never. Hell, I spent five days in the hospital about a month ago and really, really missed my S2000. Oh, yeah, I missed my wife and dog, too.

You may need help if you actually get out of bed, go sit in it at 1:30 a.m. in your pajamas just to grip the wheel and take in that new car smell. If you sleep naked and do this, make an appointment with therapist; you've crossed the line.

Do you think we have problems?

I think that collectively, we are the most passionate car owners out there!

I have been catching myself doing the same thing. I usually pop the hood to look at the engine. What a sight. If this a problem I hope I never get cured.
