Default when driving your other car...

When you drive your S2000 for an extended period of time and then drive your other car, do you ever find yourself so accustomed to your S that you "forget" you're not in it anymore?
Example: When I drive my S2000 for an extended period of time and then drive my other car (1994 Chevrolet Corsica), i sometimes.....

try to push in the clutch to start it (it's an automatic)

try to turn down the Chevy's radio volume with the redundant radio controls (it doesn't have them)

try to open the Chevy's trunk with the keyless entry. instead i set off the panic alarm scaring the sh#t out myself. the position for the panic alarm for the Chevy is in the same spot as the trunk for the Honda.

I also get used to the Honda's superb handling and braking and try to take turns and stops the same way in the Chevy. The relatively slow steering, mushy brakes and less aggressive rubber quickly remind me that it's no sports car.

I always find myself looking for the redundant radio controls while driving the Passat.

I do the radio thing too...luckily, my TL HAS those controls, but on the wheel. . The worst part is when I come onto off ramp turns really hot and expect my TL to brake as well as the S2000 before making the turn. Had a close call once or twice. Good thing I upgraded my brakes in the TL...otherwise my car would be wrapped around a pole somewhere.

hmm... well, after riding my other "vehicle", i actually get a bit frustrated with my s2000...
it feels really slow for some reason.
heehee...

then again, if i drive my friends' cars after my s2000,
urgh, it's beyond the frustration, i get angry.
they all feel like big boats!

oh yea, the radio switch too.

Same here. Also, I have caught myself wanting to put the car into sixth gear when it is only a five speed.

My other car is a Toyota 4Runner with an automatic transmission. When I get in I always find myself:

1. Looking for the start button
2. Pressing my left foot to the floor to put the car in gear
3. Disappointed by the handling for the first few miles. I wonder how I ever bought a vehicle with so much body lean.

I always look for the start button when firing up the CRV and the control on the left to change the volume - forgeting that I'm in my boat and not my S

When I get out of my Toyota and get into my Honda, I often forget that I cant drive through mud holes, over curbs, onto those big huge piles of snow in parking lots after they plow and across big potholes on the berm beside the turn lanes. Maybe I am going to have to get a lift kit for the S2000. Does anyone make one?

The only thing that I do when driving my wife's Honda, is think about how I wish I were back in my S2000.
