Same here. Also, I have caught myself wanting to put the car into sixth gear when it is only a five speed.
I've been driving the CRX alot lately and was merging on the freeway, flying through the gears and almost slammed it into 6th or on my car, reverse!

My other car is a Subaru Forester.....ain't nothing in that thing that makes me feel that I'm in MY02.
You've gotta admit though that the Forester is by far one of the best handling suvs out there. I'm more impressed by it every day.

lol, in the Audi A4 the other day (tiptronic), I nearly put my left foot through the dead pedal trying to push in the clutch to start the car.

well my other vehicle is a crew cab F250 diesel that weighs about 9000lbs with 400hp and about 750ftlbs of torque so it's hard to get the two confused, but the one thing that gets me is 6th gear sometimes. The truck is a 6spd too but has a low range that is bottom left so the top gear is really 5th. Lots of times on the highway i try to shift down from 5th to 6th but there's nothing there. I also tend to redline my truck a lot more now, i guess it's to get out my frustration that i'm still breaking my S2000 in and can't rev it

My other vehicles are a '95 Nissan V6 4x4 and a '90 CRX-Si.
I'm always looking to turn down the radio's volume with my left finger.
In the CRX-Si I have actually tried to shift into 6, damn I hate that grind...
In the truck I forget to shift to 5th, it is so quite I think I'm already in 5th!

yeah - when i first switch from S2000 to Accord, i forget about the starter and the radio controls....but the real annoying part is the difference in handling. can't tell you how many times i have made the Accord tires squeal from taking turns too fast. merging on the highway isn't as easy either. and, even though the engine noise is lower, i will sometimes push the clutch in and start to shift into 6th in the Accord....until i realize that won't work.

sure, its apples and oranges, but i still love driving my Accord...just amazed at how well the thing is doing with 145k miles. the real shocker is going from my S to my old Accord ('85 with 235k miles....a friend owns it now, but i do periodic maintenance). it feels so loose and broken in, but it still drives fine. i hope my S holds up that well.

I've got a '00 Civic EX (5 speed)

I always try to start it by pushing the mirror adjust switch.
I tend to drive in 4th at high speeds, thinking its 6th (the shift knob is down, and the Civic's engine is so quiet I don't hear it at 6K).
I go way to fast into every turn, then hammer the brakes to slow down before I take out a curb or street sign.
And of course, the roof switch on the center console is never there for me.

I accidently grinded reverse in my other car (93 prelude si) since I got so used to 6 gears.

I also notice the difference in the clutch between the 2 cars.
