Default When Installing AP2 rims on an AP1

Will I have to correct the speedometer?

I know the AP2 is 17" and AP1 is 16". However it seems as if the AP2 rims are a lower profile tire.

Any help would be appreciated. (I did search but came up empty handed)

no, you don't need to correct the speedometer. yes, it has lower profile tire.

lol drive it by one of those "your speed is: " things and see..

I dont think it'll effect it too much, and I do believe that the 17" wheels have a lower profile as well.

The profile is different, the wheel diameter is different - but the tire diameters (and therefore circumferences) are the same. No issues.
