Vtech= is like being pushed to the seat

I don't think I would agree. Well, unless the turbo was a 20G or something. Vtev feels like my old 16G turbo when it kicked over to full boost.

I have noticed if your are light with the throttle then Vtec does not seem that noticeable but if you put your foot to the floor it feels SOOOOO much better!

The car definitely feels faster when VTEC kicks in (there is a slight jolt), but I wouldn't call it a major speed change. It's certainly nowhere near twice as fast.

IMO, it's nothing like a turbo - a turbo is generally much more pronounced, and unless we're talking about a really low boost turbo (say the first turbo on a Supra TT), the VTEC transition isn't as dramatic.

The sound of the engine really changes in VTEC, though. It sounds a lot more aggressive. That contributes to the excitement and feeling of speed.

you can hear and feel vtec engagement. it doens't feel like you're going that fast in vtec, BUT if you look at the speedometer you will crap your pants! in 2nd gear vtec you're already breaking the speed limit on most roads, even enough to get you a reckless driving ticket(20 over). it's not fair, you never have enough room to wind this car out.

I felt my vtec engage strong in my Lude to. You feel it longer in the S, I guess because of the higher redline.

Your not a real addict until you vtec'd with forced induction.

Come on, everyones doing it.

VTEC kicks in for me at 5800RPM...my brother had a lude once...VTEC isn't that noticable in that car....but for the S....you can really reallly reallly feel and hear it once it hits...it makes you smile!
