VTEC kicks in a little after 6000RPM and yes...you do feel it. To me it feel like a turbo kick, you get pushed back into your seat

I feel it at like a lil over 6k, its a sound change. I have noticed Vtec kicks in harder and is more noticable in higher gears. When I Vtec in 1st I can notice a lil difference at the 6k mark and then it just screams at 9k and then right when I shift into 2nd I get that nice kick or jolt and of course a noticable sound change at 6k. When speeding in 2nd vtec is to me more noticable. Its just more prominent to me when I hit the 6k on 2nd gear and up.

I think you meant to say "you didn't hear VTEC the same way you do with a CAI and Invidia exhaust." I'd imagine it's pretty awesome.

to me it's the same as the lude.. i've owned both.. and it's nothing like a turbo....
turbo kicking in is like a sledge hammer to the back of the head
Vtech= is like being pushed to the seat
