I have collated the following Sales statistics for USA, Europe & Japan:



NOTES:

• Excludes Canada (unless American Honda includes Canada in it's sales announcements)
• Excludes Australia, Asia apart from Japan
• Japan for 2005 included as estimate at same as 2004

These Sales add to some 85,000 to end of 2005. So my question is, given the geographies missing, the 100,000th S2000 cannot be too far away, either this year or 2007.

I wonder if Honda will celebrate?


Any thoughts?

In comparission, does anyone have real numbers on other roadsters? I'm assuming a lot more miata's are made every year. How about the mr2 spyders? Just wondering for a comparision.

Oh you bet! Although that miata came out a decade earlier than the S, the 700,000th miata WAS still quite a milestone!
