when you see another s2k on the road
In my town, fellow S2000 owners do not wave whatsoever. In fact, it seems as though they do not acknowledge another S2K owner. It seems to me that I am the only S2000 owner in my town who actually is into the car, instead of simply into owning it for a period of time, selling it and moving on to something different.

What do being "into the car" and waving at every other car like yours have to do with each other??

when we are both top down I drive close enough for both of us to reach out and give each other a high five.
It depends on the situation. Normally, if I come across another S2000 on the road I do nothing. If I see another GPW AP2 with Gold BBS LMs in 18s with white Ricks Badges and a factory lip, I will probably try to run that driver off the road for trying to bite my style...
At one point in my ownership, I was the fanatic who would wave, flash, and honk whenever I saw another S2000. Then I realized that I looked absolutely ridiculous doing that and I immediately stopped. I know my car. I love my car. I don't need to validate that by acknowledging other S2000s driven by people I don't know personally. Not anything against people who choose to do it, but it just isn't for me anymore.
