I was out driving tonight (top down), maybe 75 degrees and it seemed like air, at least 10 degrees warmer than the outside air, was entering the cockpit from the rear of the car, and forced down behind the driver seat and armrest. Is this the backwash air that people talk about or is there something else that I need to be concerned with?

Do you have a windscreen?

Anyway, I usually have heated air from the transmission coming out of the center console.
