I was wondering where you guys take your car to put stuff on. On my accord, I tend to do stuff my self but when i get the s2k, I'll be too scared to do it my self(I might screw something up) Where do you guys take your (ie. coilovers, vafc, SC, aftermarket clutch, flywheel, exhaust, bodykits ect ect...) to get it installed? Some bodyshops that I've been to won't do it for me because they didn't sell it or they won't do it because if it mess up, they don't want to take responsibility. AlsoSome import shops don't look like they know what they're doing and they got some highschool kid working for them. Where do you guys take it to? thanks

I think a great many in the community install their own aftermarket parts.

maybe if u post where exactly u live some1 in your area might b able 2 recommend someone nearby. Many of the parts are easy for the ordinary mechanic to install so if it hasn't occurred 2u start there but remember that some of these parts might not have the desired effect no matter who does the install.

Like rossmon said, post exactly where you're at. If you're down is So Cal, there are a lot of dealers that you can take your car to to get things installed.

I go to Move Motorsports Palm Springs or Palm Desert. Good friends with a great mechanic.

Many people react like this when I answer this question.

I have a very long-standing relationship with my Honda dealer. They have been doing all the serious mechanical work on my '90 CRX-Si that has spent 10 years flying around Watkins Glen. Major upgrades they do, small upgrades I do. The exception to that is I'm not a big fan of rolling around under the car when it is up on jack stands. I know my stands are safe, and the car is secure, but I have a hard time getting past that phobia.

I do some; Honda dealer does the rest.
