Default Where do you put your left heel?

Hi folks,

Had a chance to hop in Eric N's Red S2000 to see if I fit etc and found it to be quite nice, although I wish my left leg and knee can fit between the door and the steering wheel.

But, anyway, regarding the clutch, as you let up the clutch to engage the gear, is your left foot heel ON the floor or is it OFF the floor? When is it on the floor other than the time when the cluch is fully in?

Tks,
Jimmy

I never paid attention to this! probably to the left, but I'll have to check next time!

Is it coastal metals that makes this heel rest?

Sir Tom GT,

Actually my questions is....

Say you're at the stop light.. you put the top of your left foot on the clutch, as you slowly let the clutch up while gassing it to get going, do you let the clutch up by moving your ankle and letting the heel rest on the floor? Or, do you let your entire leg up and lift your left foot off the ground as you let the clutch up?

Entire leg gets pulled up and and heel gets pulled off floor. As entire foot gets pulled up, the ankle flexes to further pull the foot away from the clutch pedal. My experience.

I use the Spoon wheels; sold the oems. I like the Spoons; no rubbing problems with 205/245. I have a 8 1/5x 11 of the car at Streets of Willow with the car hiked to the right at the end of a tight left hander. The offsets look good in the picture. Handling after I had the car aligned is very nice. No scanner, so I will try to copy the picture and have Mingster or someone scan it, or I can send it.

Btw, are you still running Spoon wheels?
