Thumbs up Where does this piece belong?

Hello, S2ki'ers ('figured I'd throw this in s2k talk, too)

Over the weekend I had a gathering at my house, during which time several people were looking at my s2k, sitting and playing around it. Long story short, when I awoke the next morning, I found the following on my passenger seat. Anybody know what it is? Is it a part that belongs somewhere on the s2000? If anyone can identify it and tell me where it belongs, I'd be forever in your debt:

I think that might be the cover for the base of your inside rearview mirror. It goes against the glass...

It belongs on the floor. Even if its put back on the mirror stalk it still winds up on the floor, so that's where it belongs.
