where is the best place to purchase a good set of spanners for Comptech adjustable springs?

no one has had to buy a set? I have heard you can use your hands but I have also been told to buy a good set.....so anyone?

I'll say it. i'm a tard...what are you talking about when you say spanners? Use your hands? If you mean what you use to adjust the perches, I just used a "L-shaped" hex key. Stick it in the holes, turn that ho ass perch.

probably not what you are talking about, but it was a shot.

actually that is what I was talking about....I was told you need a set of "spanners" to adjust them...I don't know wtf they are either (that's why I was asking where to get them ).........I just got the adjustable's in and wanted to have everything before I had them installed...guess I don't need them though ....thanx bro

Tim,

I think there's a picture here, but when you see the prices on this website, you'll find another way to get the job done. Or you'll at least look for another supplier. I've never seen the shocks, but I suspect the pin spanners at the bottom is what you're talking about.

- yea, I use my hands to adjust the perch...
- I don't even tighten the allen screw to "LOCK" the perch in place...

i would use the screws to lock the perch into place. Just use a hex key that's L shaped and you are straight.

spanners are not necessary with Comptech Adjustables, unless they have changed the way they work recently. The perches are not adjusted using the same tools as coilovers.
