Default where to put stuff.. suggestions plz

hey guys, being a newbie owner, but veteran S2000 self-proclaimed fanatic.. i'm having trouble thinking of places to put things.. and what you use yoru compartments for

1. cell phone.. i know there's that dinky slot there and my tiny phone happens to fit.. but it sucks when i'm trying to use the armrest and i bump into the phone.

2. CDs.. do you get some kind of CD case or do u throw it into the passenger seat?

3. garage door opener.. i tried sticking that on the visor but then it started to rattle really bad.. any suggestions here?

4. the secret compartment is where i put my owners manual and the other warranty booklet and stuff.. but the compartment has two slots.. any ideas on what these slots were created to store?

5. what do you guys put under that elastic band on the glove box door?

any other items that anyone stores in odd places?

I bought a thingy from Classic Autocare Online. It is a magnet that sticks to your dash. A small oval metal piece sticks to the back of your phone. You just pull it off when you get out of the car. I think Rick of Rick's Accessories has one for his phone too.

Stick your manual in the little depression where the Jack is under the board in the trunk.

1. My current cell phone is too big to fit in that little slot. I sometimes use the cup holder or throw it on the passenger seat. I have been known to forget it when I come back from lunch and leave it laying on the seat. Good thing I always put the top up at work. Oh, and if there is a passenger in the car and I don't want it hitting my arm while sticking up from the cup holder, I put it in the glove box.

2. I got one of those smallish 12 CD cases that you use without the CDs jewel boxes. Barely fits in the glove box and has to be stood straight up or the thing won't latch.

3. I put my garage door opener in the small little slot you put your cell phone in. It fits just right (does not stick up above the arm rest) and the curved part of the hole allows me to reach in just far enough to hit one of the three buttons. This is from a Craftsman opener of like 5 years ago.

4. I too put my owners manual and insurance info in the secret compartment. My sunglasses (in their case) fit perfectly in that little front section.

5. I had a small Sure Fire flashlight clipped to that elastic band, but it rattled around too much and sometimes created problems with closing the lid(had to keep it on the opposite side of my CD case, etc). I don't have anything there right now.

1. cell phone, your guess is as good as mine

2.I put my CD case under the driver seat. (have one that holds 250)

3.Don't have any suggestions since mine don't rattle. You might try one of those that goes on you key ring

4.Put the owners manual in that slot between the jack and handle in the trunk.

5.Registration card goes in that elastic band in the glove box door

Everything else goes in the trunk.

1) Cell Phone - I only keep one for emergencies and it is in the secret compartment.

2)CD's - I have one 48 flat case under the passenger seat and 2 24's under mine

3)Garage Door Opener - Put velcro on it and it sticks under the steering wheel on the dash.

4) Owners manual and other papers in the trunk, secret compartment has phone, digital air pressure gauge, sunscreen, top part has glasses

5)glove box has cologne, mouthwash proximity sensor for the alarm and my cannon digital camera. Keep Insurance card under the elastic. I am able to keep things orgnanized thanks to the glove box organizer I bought.

I store my cellphone in the regular compartment (the one below the secret compartment).

My garage door opener fit in the cupholder, so that's where I put it. I don't really drink while I drive, so I don't use the cupholder a whole lot.

I have a CD case that I throw my CDs in and I put that under the passenger seat.

I clip my garage door opener onto the elastic band on the door.
I open the glovebox door and the remote flops out with it in perfect position.

I've my passenger seat out. I use my S as a "work truck" There's actually alot of room without that seat in the way. Keep in mind that nobody ever drives with me and if they do, it only takes about five minutes to put it back in. If my girl and I go anywhere we usually just take the Forester.

Cell phone goes w/ my change in the little hole by the cupholder. Sometimes I also keep it inbetween the driver's seat and the center console where the seatbelt clip is.

Garage door and gate opener goes on the passenger visor. However, a friend of mine has his clipped somewhere underneath the steering compartment by the left leg.?

My registration and ins goes under the elastic.

Secret stuff goes in my secret compartment.

Cd's go under the seat.

Amp's in with the spare tire

Radar detector is attached to the rearview mirror and wired in with the dome light.

That's all I can think of right now.

1. My Cell phone has a belt latch, not one of the swivel ones, so when I opend the radio door, is back of the door has these like these slits so I clip the phone there.

2. I have a flat 48 and when I have a passenger, it rests nicly between their left leg and center counsoul.

3. garage door opener is on the drivers visor. If it rattels what I have found helps is some toliet paper, it used to rattel a LOT on my prelude when I was playing music.

4. Sun screen, two pens, paper, sun glasses, DVD and VHS rentels fit nicely ohh and a disposable camera.

5. I never really noticed that band... I guess I could put the pad of paper there.

I dont know what that little slit is for in the center counsole. I have seen cell phones there, but I really dont know what is the point of that little thing? loose change?...
