hey guys...sometimes when i first start up my car i get this weird whining sound that sounds like its coming from somewhere in front of my passenger area...once i drive the car for awhile it goes away but i was just wondering if its normal and if anybody knew what the cause of the sound might be...should i be concerned? thanks for the help...

 

Have you verified that your wife is not in the car?

 

its your auxiliary air pump. its there to heat up the cat quicker to reduce emissions.
