Hi all..
I love to have white diffuser install but bodyshop told me that will bring up the change to Damage the HID because water might get in to it after you install.....

This can be a concern. The headlights are air tight to a point. There are 4 big holes in the back for the light bulbs, and 1 large one in the bottom for the HID Ballast. All of these have rubber seals on them to keep air/water out of the headlights.

If the installation is done right, and the headlights are seal properly then it will not be an issue. This is the main reason that Rick's offers this as a service. That way you get someone who has installed them before and you get a warranty against leaks for 90 days.

With all of that said, even the stock headlights can leak. There are several threads about this. EDM/USDM/JDM can all do it. However is properly done, you should not be able to tell that they have been opened. Because that are put back together by hand instead of machine, more care is taken and better results are seen.

We have even repaired a few leaking stock headlight when we cleared them So far we have yet to have an issue after we have cleared them.

Read this thread where Airgate's review the installation after 8 months.

It's been a month since I installed my diffusers and still no sign of condensation inside. It also rains a lot here in Houston. If it's done right, there should be no problems...
