dust inside the headlights

Default dust inside the headlights

Hi guys,

how can i get the dust out of my headlights?

very strange problem since they are sealed...
you have to drop the bumper and then break the seal-
best instructions for this can be found in the instructions for clearing the corners.

Thanks Wanabe,

Dust went in there is because i cleared my headlights couple days ago.

is there another way to do it, i don't want to open them again

wow that is ashame... unfortunately since they are sealed, thats the only way!

Actually they are not really sealed. What about those really big holes for the light bulbs?

Here is what you can try, Get a Vacum and a can of compressed air. Using teh compressed air, carefully ( reads really carefully and slowly) release the compressed air to get the dust moving, and us the Vac to suck it up. You know, blow in one hole and suck from another.

That is really your only option short of opening them again.

good thought stratocaster... definitely worth trying before going through the dismantle process again!

I didn't try it, but the dust seems gone, it's not noticeable anymore.
