Originally ordered red. I thought this would be the best "original sports car color", Since it is basically for summer use, I didn't want black, and I already have a silver X5. Two weeks before scheduled pick-up, I took the wife up to the dealership to drive the manager's silver one. Wanted to make sure she loved the car as much as I, as it is kind of a toy for both of us to drive. She did love the s2k, However, they had just put a brand new, all shiney & prepped, white one in the showroom. My wife , who was all for the red, loved the white better! Especially the red two-tone interior. It looked great, with the black roof up or down. I wanted to resist, and hold out for the red, as I immediatley thought of the white as for "women", but the fact that we could have it right away, and my wife liking it better than the red, and the fact that they are so rare, sealed it. I'm so glad we did it. It looks so good, and gets much attention. It's easy to keep clean, and I'm sure will stay the coolest in summer heat. I think there is another NH white on this board, though I've never seen him around town. I do like the exclusivity of this color.

sh2k here......I have not been able to see the board for a couple days. Go WHITE!!!!!!! Looks great! Live in Northeast Ohio and I have not seen another white one up here. The only other one that I've seen in person was when I was in Columbus, Oh and it was in a parking garage in the downtown area. It is nice to have such a unique car and color!

And according to another thread on this board we are less likely to be involved in an accident. If you live in Canada.

I'm ordering W/R next week!!! Finally!!! I do wish that the black interior were available with the white exterior. The only drawback to me is the carpet coloring. Nothing a black Rick console cover & a set of black/red Muz floormats can't fix! I've only seen one white Stook on the road in my travels. I'm crossing my fingers that when my order is placed next week that the response from Japan about 10 days later is WHITE. I've been told it "should" be but there are no guarantees! I guess I'll go red if it's not or yellow....or black... But not Silver. I think the silver looks good but 4 out of every 5 I see are Silver. I'm greedy I guess for wanting the most exclusive color of a pretty exclusive car.....

I just think for a little roadster like the S2K, white just rocks.

It looks very aggressive and classy at the same time.

When it is cleaned and shiny....nothing compares...not even a spa yellow. ;-)

you like the rarety huh?? i have never owned a white car...and really don't like white cars, but i have seen yours...and i have to admit the s2000 looks good in white...the black top helps.

But my fav. color (on this car)is yellow..obviously...or why would i have a yellow one!! I just think the S2000 looks really good in yellow. It is not a classy or GT car..it is a kick ass road racer track car..it should be yellow!!

I have only seen one other yellow one on the road..it's not like the road is crawling with them. YELLOW RULES!! j/k

Maybe I will see you crusing around again!

Starting from first principles....

1) The red interior is more interesting and more eye catching than the black.

2) The Silver exterior blends into the background - generally because it's a dull color (in the literal and nicest possible sense), and in actuality if it's raining.

3) That leaves black or white

4) I own a black Expedition

and

5) White is/was the F1 national racing colors of Japan before adverising got in the way

so therefore

6) WHITE WHITE WHITE WHITE WHITE

Never regretted it.... Boy does it stand out.

Against the all odds!!!

We have three white/red Stooks in Nashua, NH. What a great color, I love it. Everyone loves it when they see it, infact one day the Stook caused an accident because the driver of the car was too busy looking at my car and did not notice traffic stopped in front of him. OOPS!
