I have undertaken to delete my posts of any content here since the Management here has made this an unfriendly place for me and the club I founded and am President of, the S2000 Club of America, Inc. and they have claimed that my words have somehow become THEIR property and I think that's pretty uncool. If you would like to read whatever post, please contact me at greg@s2kca.com. Thanks

White is definately NOT the ticket.

I think the BBS RG-R's are pretty damn nice and the
black Spoon's are nice (although, i don't think the
offsets are that great...35mm on the front???)

how about some of the Work's miesters??

of course lots of others already have those.

goodluck

scot

(i think the 16" volks probably only weigh a tad more than
the Spoons and are way closer to a stock offset)??

What timing! Unicron sent me these pics today.
Volk TE-37's Anthracite

I don't like the black rims on any car or motorcycle either. They blend in with the tire too much for my taste. I would want some contrast between the two. These tires are just enough and the anthracite looks better in person than in these pics.

Front- 17x7.5
Rear - 17x8.5

Greg,

depending on the style of rim you will be going with, white could look very racy, not ricey. However, the spoke or whatever pattern you go with should be medium to thin.

I'ce seen some Lambos and a couple of 355's with this color combo, it looked fast just standing still!!!

You're right, the dark color combo'd with a red ride looks aggressive, but then again so dooes a souped up Dodge Charger. Go for the fast look!!!

I'll try to find a couple of pics for you by tomorrow.

Hahaha, no offence but (please don't flame me) a white guy who has white rims on his S. Now that's FOB (another version of saying rice)! Once in a blue moon do I see a white guy with a riced out car in Frisco. Well what do I know. I live in San Francisco where there is an alarmingly large Asian population that rices up everything from a Tercel to a Bimmer. Go for gunmetal, that color doesn't look "too ricey." As for the make of the rims, try Advan (AVS). They make some really nice looking rims. Also, (my favorite) Blitz Technospeed. Now those rims are SaV. Oh yeah, if anyone thinks I'm racial please note that I live in a city that is an "ethnic tossed-salad." Curiously though, everyone trys to act Black (myself included ). Latez!

Not white. Not on the red anyway. Gold, maybe. I like the stock look but understand your desire for reduced unsprung weight.
