I've noticed most of the members on this forum are west coast and more specificly pac north west.. I am from WA too and I love the S because cops don't target you like all the other hondas/acuras out there.. I just picked up my 01 about a week ago it came all stock with an intake and gram lights on it, I just picked up some Tien flex's and installed yesterday to drop it a bit in the front...

honestly there are two reasons i dont mod my s2000, 1.expensive 2. buyers remorse.
mods are expensive, not just on this car but anycar in my opinion! i'd rather use mod money to pay more off my balance over at american honda. the second reason is form the times ive modded my cars, ive regretted it. i wished i had never lowered my type-s. or changed the exhaust, or added a CAI, because it gets old to me. and there are times i wish i had save and got a mugen airbox instead of an injen CAI, or a fujitsubo exhaust instead of RS*R. so i just cant make up my mind with what i want on my s2000. so i'd rather keep it stock.

I don't care to really do it up anymore. Maybe the big 3-0 did it to me or what not...who knows. I did lower it and add a set of ap2 wheells but that's it. Oh, and I added a system. Other then that, I'm just going to finish paying off the car and move to my next phase in life...

I have decided not to mod my S, due to the fact that all the warranties you pay for become void. If I didn't purchase the warranties, then I'd probably SC the S.

I'm stock because i'm poor.
But I'm tempted after I was playing with another S with an exhaust through a long tunnel!

Completely stock because I like the timeless lines and beauty of the exterior without spoil...ers and the engine has more than enough power as standard. I don't like to be noticed too much in the car, one of the black color reasons... I have another stereo with GPS, only mod! But yeah, once the warranty is over, I'll dream for sure of a SC The better is the greatest enemy of the good...

I will admit why I am stock. My wife won't let me put money into it!!! That was part of my 'contract' in purchasing the car. No modifications. Period. I had two previous Hondas I had put a modest amount of money into, but I guess it was not modest to her.

However, she did let me order an OEM lip for it the other day, and I have bought a Voodoo shift knob as well....so maybe over time.... I can eventually get a Comptech Supercharger. We shall see.
