I'll be ordering a Comptech supercharger kit in the late winter/early spring and I wanted to go all out by maximizing flow:

-I'm sending away my throttle body to PowerFlow to be ported/polished
-I will be getting an aftermarket header (not sure who's)
-I have a catalyst replacement on the way (MG Racing)
-I will then be getting a Comptech exhaust system

-To further this maximum-airflow-maddness, I wanted my intake ported and polished (while I have some of the engine already apart)

Who does it? Does anyone agree/disagree with my plan?

Last question: Why is there an antifreeze line running through the throttle body?

You might consider this source for your intake manifold polishing.

Extrude Hone - I've used this process in the past on heads, intakes, turbo housings, etc. On a Integra Type R intake manifold, it showed an increase of 4hp to the wheels. Your results may vary. Basically, the process is forcing an abrasive putty type material through the ports, polishing it super smooth. I liken the finish to that of glass.

Try them out at www.extrudehone.com HTH

The coolant line in the TB helps warm the TB in the winter time (prevents it from freezing shut).
