who drives the hell out of their car?
i definitely do. i just cant help myself especially with a car like this
unfortunately, sometimes i get into trouble like sometimes missing a gear, grinding or even revving accidentally when in neutral up to 9k or past (does the rev limiter work in this case?) anyway, this is a helluva fun car. ive never driven any of my other cars this way. i sure hope the engine will last although i know all things mechanical will fail sooner if taken to the limit.
spending 36k sure seems like a lot to be beating the crap out of a car and something one shouldn't do (maybe this car's supposed to be driven hard
) but the s2k keeps luring me into the sweet spot every time i drive her....im addicted.

I don't know many who own fast cars and don't drive it hard. Maybe cuz we're all young, not saying anything about the older generation but when I get to 40 or something ... I'll be in a 700 series BMW and not some noisy fast sports car because I know I won't be able to drive like when I was young.
I'm still having trouble driving aggressively enough in autox. I've got the line, just not getting close enough to the limit.
Which is not to say that I don't haul ass frequently. VTECing is an exhilarating accelerating experience.

. My 40+ year old friend has a 740. Nice car, very luxurious, and it's nearly as fast as the S2000. But, I wouldn't think about trading with him even though we're about the same age. You are correct that I don't drive like I did when I was younger - I'm much faster now
.
