who else loves their s2k's trunk??
i love my s2k's trunk. i used to compartmentalize my trunk with boxes to keep things from shift around when i drive spiritedly. with the tool tray compartment in the s2k trunk, it serves as the perfect compartment to keep things from flying all over the place. on top that, i transport take-out food a lot (cuz i'm a bachelor and am too lazy to cook), and my remedy for getting the food home safely while still having fun behind the wheel is to fill the tool tray area with rolled up towels and sweatshirts (which comes in handy on cold days or when i go to the beach) and adjust/remove them in whatever way necessary to fit my take-out food snuggly in place. so far i've yet to spill any of my dinner in the trunk...and that includes those frequent occasions when i decide to take the long way home via twisty mountain roads...

I do find that the trunk is plenty of space, since I do no heavy travelling. It is a bit of an adjustment though. My previous cars where an '85 S-10 Blazer and a '95 GMC Sierra Truck...sooo, couldn't quite move what I used to, but the S's trunk is more than enough for me.

I went to get some takeout BBQ for a party. The tray of BBQ fit perfectly down in the tool compartment area. Not a bit spilled even though I was driving like this and my father-in-law was like this . I was worried when I got home, but when I opened the trunk I was like this .

I think it's a great trunk for a car that size. What I think is amazing is that the cubbyhole indention in the bottom is the same size as those suitcases designed for overhead bins.

Gotta give it up for the S2000's trunk! Those Honda engineers always amaze me with their attention to detail. That indentation in the middle makes a big difference.
Just last week I checked out an M Roadster and looked in the trunk. Same size - 5 cubic feet - but as they also stow the battery back there, the actual storage space is less.
