i was browsing craigslist yesterday and found a s2000 for sale with 241k miles. i was curious if anyone has more than that and also if thats on the original engine and transmission?

I don't see why it wouldn't be on it's original trans and engine it is was taken care of, maintained properly and not abused. The F20 engines are very overbuilt.

I bet you can run them well over 100K miles on the original engine/trans with track only miles...

I think it's member I<3myap1 here on the forum, he is an employee of passwordjdm and his S currently has 279k on the original engine, tranny, and diff.

Go like halfway down the page and you will see his name, and it even says "highest mileage S 279k" in his sig.

I'm no where near that. Only at 198k+ so far.

 

I'd say you're pretty close considering I'm at 35k

Don't have the highest but could be up there on rate of miles put on per year. 178K on an 06.
