It's a re-engineered version of the design from Harold Hammerly, who stopped selling them. The main advantage of the design is that it bolts directly into the car's structure rather than being attached to sheet metal like the trunk pan. Also, most of the hitch can be easily removed when not in use, so there are minimal weight and clearance issues except when actually towing.

 

I have the Hammerly hitch, I just haven't installed it yet.

 

i wasnt aware that the s2000 had enough torque to actually pull anything besides its body.
