top goes down only after 5 pm.
"convertible" factor had absolutely nothing to with my choice when i decided to buy a s2000.

I totally agree with u! I put mine down during the night or on cold days. I can't stand direct sun!

I usually only have the top down on cool sunny days (now) but in the summer it is up in the day time and at night the damn thing comes down, but still need a/c it's still almost 100 degrees until 10 pm!!

I haven't seen my soft top in months- I like the hardtop too much. I have more headroom and more rearward visabilty. The soft top was not a deciding factor when I bought the car. On the rare occasion when the hardtop is off, I do put the soft top down so I can see out the back.

My top stays up if it's too hot or too cold.

I'm with ya ttb...I like having the top down, but not when it's really hot, for instance in the middle of the day during summer. Of course, my hair is shaved pretty short and I tend to get sunburned pretty damn easily. During summer, I usually only put the top down in the early mornings and evenings, almost never midday.

My favorite thing is putting the top down at night. It feels, I dunno, kind of video game-ish.

Hot - top down
Cold - top down
Day - top down
Nite - top down
Sunny - top down
Cloudy - top down
Raining - whats that?

I'll drop my top, if you drop yours!!

With winter coming, I'm praying for sun.

Lots of sun = no snow

I hate the sun, another half-ass no blood sucking vampire here.
By the way if I put the top down I say bye bye to my hair, the turbulance just goes thru it an in 15 minutes I need more gel. Is there any way to prevent this?
