Who here in the northeast drives their S2k all year round?
I am trying to decide what to do .. currently driving a 01 Prelude that is great in the snow with snow tires. If I do buy a S2K, I would like to use it as a daily driver and would invest in snow tires for the winter. I dont like the idea of parking the S in the garage for 5 months and driving a beater ... that will cost money to buy, drive,
insure and maintain. Keeping the Prelude is not an option, if I get the S. Comments, suggestions please. Thanks!

The S is my only car but I bought it right after winter so I have not driven it in the snow yet. Blizzack LM-22's on some steel rims is what I am going to do for the snow, hope this help.

i use my S as a daily driver, and i have no beater. i got it just before winter at a good deal which is why i didnt wait until spring in case you were wondering. but anyway it does blo in the snow as you probabally know. getting through the winter was a pain in the A**, but i survived with only minor paint chips here and there. i strongly advise getting a winter beater if at all possible

i drove my s all winter (no snow tires)... we had a bunch of snow days and i think that its doable... with some snow tires and like 100 pounds of sand in the trunk you should be able to get around

4 LM22's and a bit of common sense goes a long way!!!
And don't worry about the idiots who ask you why you drive YOUR car during the winter, you're having 10x more fun driving your car than they are.
Good luck!

I drive my S all year round. It's been thru three winters on a sets of Pirelli winter tires. Will need new winter tires for next winter. If I had to do it all over again, I'd buy a beater for the price of winter tires.
