Default Who makes the best Nose Bra??

Was wondering if anyone out there had purchased one they are particularly happy with? I don't like them in general, but my daily commute runs through areas where there is a ton of road construction and my paint is getting dinged to hell. (I'm on my 2nd windshield) I guess I should also ask if anyone has come across a good chip repair technique, as I am not happy with my touch-up results thusfar.

Stongard Clear Bra, not cheap but worth it. That and the light kit make my front end pretty protected. Some people think the light kit will make your lights craze, but this has happened on a rear light so I personally think this is a unsubstantiated claim.

I've personally seen the crazing problem on other people's cars and while the Stonegaurd may not be the root cause it seems to be related so my recommendation would be to stay away from putting any adhesive on the plastic lenses of your headlights. It's a risk either way though.

As for the 3M clear film, just do a search, you'll find many people that have it installed. Stonegard is not the only brand. I have Invincishield, it's all basically 3M Scotchcal in the end. The only differences is how it is cut. Stonegaurd uses one large piece on the front which is a bear to install. Invincishield uses a 3 piece system so there are two seam lines.

If you don't want to go that route, Colgan is the ONLY maker of a nose mask (bra) for the car. I have one and it works alright but I wouldn't leave it on the car for more than a few days at a time as dirt will get underneath the felt and cause scratches (sooner or later).

I agree with dude. Actually, I think the old black bras are very dated looking, and will only take away from the awsome aggressive front end look anyway. One of those clear guards would be my bet.

I agree about the old style vinyl bras, I haven't seen anyone with the 3M film up close yet, I will ask around my area, but will probably wait until I get the car repainted as I'm sure my DOZENS of semi-shoddy touch-ups will look like crap underneath, Thanks!
